Today, I’m proud to officially announce my intent to run for re-election as Grant County Sheriff.

Over the past three years, the men and women of the Grant County Sheriff’s Office have accomplished some truly great things. Together, we’ve strengthened public safety, improved operations, invested in our people, and continued to build trust within the communities we serve. I’m incredibly proud of what this team has achieved and grateful for the support we’ve received along the way.

There is still important work to be done, and I remain committed to leading with integrity, accountability, and a focus on keeping Grant County safe.

Thank you for your continued support. I look forward to earning your trust once again.

What a great turnout at the Grant County Sheriff's Office Trunk-or-Treat event along with Lights of Larson and Grant County Fire District #5. We saw a bunch of little ghosts and goblins tonight. After meeting with both candidates last week, the Grant County Deputy Sheriffs Association voted to endorse Joey Kriete for Grant County Sheriff.

In their endorsement letter, Association President Jason Ball wrote, “We believe you are the best candidate for the position of Sheriff because of your knowledge, experience, and leadership you have and continue to bring to the Sheriff’s Office. Your experience as a patrol deputy, major crimes detective, patrol and traffic unit sergeant, Chief Deputy of Investigations, and your ten years as Chief Deputy of Corrections, for a total of 29 years, is unmatched.”
